Wild Organic Montana Sage

There are places in the world that naturally attract the positive energies. It is somewhat obvious, that the wild places, untouched by humans and still very primitive in nature, would attract the positive or at the very least a neutral energy. There are becoming, fewer and fewer of these pure places left on our planet. Montana has given us the opportunity to share these untapped, primordial energy sources. We have the ability to explore our nature landscapes and pick wild sage that was used by the natives. These places have both spiritual and historic significance, this is where great native tribes had flourished for thousands of years, living off this bountiful land that their ancestors had preserved and protected. Sacajawea aided Lewis and Clark in their expedition through this area, providing them safe passage. During this expedition Captain William Clark gave her the nickname “Janey” which is where we derived our name.

The ritual burning of herbs and herbal resins is common to many cultures in the world. From the rich frankincense of the Church and the Middle Eastern bazaar, to the heady incenses of Asia, to the raw energy of brush burning in many native cultures—the purification of space through this modality is a global phenomenon and one you can benefit from highly.

Burning sage is one of the oldest and purest methods of cleansing a person, group of people or space. While Native American sage burning is the most commonly recognized form of it today, it has nevertheless been a shared practice in other cultures too.
